What Visitors Say
What a gorgeous theatre, we went to see the 17:30 show of "Oh, Mary"! on Thursday 26th February. It's absolutely lovely inside with the most comfortable seats, we have ever sat in. Lovely staff who were very friendly. We will definitely be back.
I haven’t seen a production at the Trafalgar Theatre since it was the Trafalgar Studios. Previously the theatre had two Studios - which provided quite an intimate atmosphere for plays, but the Studios themselves were somewhat bland and lacked character. I visited recently to see “Oh, Mary!” and was really impressed with the renovations that have transformed the theatre back to its former Art Deco glory - now it really is a beautiful theatre. The play itself was superb - camp frivolity at its finest. Mason Alexander Park is a force of nature and mesmerising to watch. Seats were comfortable, and bathrooms were clean. All the staff I met were very friendly and helpful. I will definitely be visiting again.
I visited for the first time to see the Clarkston play, which runs until November 22nd. It features talented actors Joe Locke, Ruaridh Mollica, and Sophie Melville. The Trafalgar Theatre is a stunning Grade II listed venue situated near Trafalgar Square. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful whenever I had questions. I had the excellent opportunity to sit on the balcony, where the seats were incredibly comfortable with ample legroom.
Went to see @Clarckston last week. We LOVED it. But I am writing this review to thank the staff of the theatre. We had a problem with our tickets and they helped us A LOT doing what they could so my daughter could see one of her favourite actors. Everything worked out perfect at the end. Thank you for your kindness and Support.
Great theatre! Been here twice to see 2 plays in Nov 2024 and 2025. Seats are quite good as they have a nice veiw and are comfortable. Very friendly staff, lovely people who answer your questions and guide you. Great surroundings as it's right next to Trafalgar square (hence the name). Stage door felt safe, well as safe as you can feel in London. Overall amazing venue and I hope to see more shows there!

Venue Tips
✨ Best For
Plays, revivals and contemporary theatre in a central London location. A perfect choice for audiences who prefer an intimate auditorium close to Trafalgar Square and Whitehall attractions.
💺 Best Seats
Stalls provide the closest connection with the actors and strongest emotional impact. Front rows of the Dress Circle offer a balanced view and excellent sightlines across the stage.
⚠️ Seats to Avoid
Avoid the very back rows of the Dress Circle where the angle becomes steeper, and far side seats at both levels, which may offer reduced views during dynamic staging.
