About Alexandra Palace Theatre
After an 80-year closure, the 2018 reopening became one of the most ambitious theatre restorations in modern British history, returning a forgotten 19th-century auditorium to public performance.
Venue Tips
✨ Best For
Historic atmosphere, concerts, large productions, festive family shows, and anyone exploring north London’s famous Alexandra Palace.
💺 Best Seats
Central stalls for immersive views of the stage. Circle front rows provide a sweeping perspective and excellent acoustics. For standing events, arrive early to secure a good position near the front.
⚠️ Seats to Avoid
Rear and far-side seats in the circle may feel distant. For detailed acting, avoid the highest slips which are furthest from the stage.
