Valentines Mansion
What Visitors Say
A very lovely park. I'd never get bored walking round it. Beautiful house. For me the best bit is the kitchen, pantry and scullery downstairs. Fabulous. I always head for the kitchen when I visit a National Trust or English Heritage place but Valentines' are even better (and there's no travelling and it's free to go in)
A really enjoyable trip around a beautifully preserved house with wonderful historical artefacts. We often go for a walk in the park but a look around in the house and getting to see its wonderful history was a real treat!! Very glad to have such a gem on our doorstep.
My favourite place for walks. I visited mansion and it blew my mind. Highly recommend to visit. Also the staff there was very friendly and knowledgeable.
I went there with my 5 yr old to attend a safari animals activity during the Oct half term. It was a lovely session by Tiffany and she tried to cater to all the tables and help the kids with their crafts. It was really nice to see all the kids involved and busy with the crafts. My little one enjoyed it a lot and was happy to get her art framed and bring home.
I loved the house in its entirety, especially the kitchen. You can imagine the maids cooking for the family in there. The music playing outside and the children’s choir singing inside were very enjoyable. Also all the trinkets, jewellery, cards etc that were on sale were lovely.
