Lovely venue for a wedding. Staff friendly and organised. Old building so not sure if has wheelchair access. Had to park nearby and walk. Also further payment required for photos in garden but surrounded by parkland.
I’ve had the pleasure of photographing a couple of weddings at Danson House. Each room has its own character and charm, making every event feel unique and personal. The staff have always been polite and helpful, creating a welcoming and smooth experience. I’m looking forward to returning in July to capture another special day!
Took the children to see Santa today at the grotto. We have been coming here for the last 3 years. It's always so beautifully done with santa and Mrs claus there to greet and talk to the children we never feel rushed. I just wanted to acknowledge the wonderful young girl (dressed as an elf) in the foyer today. She was looking after guests and talking to the children and she was doing this by herself. She done such an amazing job!
I had the chance to shoot as a wedding photographer at Danson House, and it truly is a stunning location! Its historic charm, elegant gardens, and interiors that work beautifully with natural light make every shot unique. There are so many fantastic spots for couple and group photos, perfect for wedding shoots; every corner tells a story. The kind and supportive attitude of the staff also makes the shooting process so much more enjoyable.
I was so grateful to be able to photograph Bryony & Nick's wedding at Danson House. As a wedding photographer you are always hoping to photograph at venues with lots of character, historic charm and beautiful surroundings. Danson House has all this and much more. There is so much natural light coming through the windows and the gardens surrounding Danson House are perfect for couple portraits. I really enjoyed working here as a wedding photographer and I cannot wait to come back.
