"Good show overall. We all expected it to be closer to the movie just a musical version but a lot was changed in the story. Many of our favourite Elf moments either not in it or fell flat and the actors made a few obvious mistakes which I wouldn’t have expected from a London theatre production. If you can go see it without expecting “Elf” then it’s great. And the end was superb to be fair! ??"

"As a family, Elf has always been our absolute favourite Christmas film, so we were genuinely excited to finally see it brought to life on stage. Unfortunately, I'm sad to say that the production was a huge disappointment. I’ve been going to West End musicals since I was little, and I’ve never experienced one that felt so low par. We ended up walking out during the interval because we couldn’t bear the thought of sitting through the second half. The acting—especially Buddy—just wasn’t great. On top of that, the American accents adopted by the rest of the cast were squeaky, exaggerated, and honestly quite irritating. It all felt more like a pantomime gone wrong than the magical, heartwarming show we were expecting. Plus it wasn't cheap, we sat in the Stalls, so did pay a small fortune for the tickets. All in all, it was a complete letdown. A real shame for a story we love so much."
